The Nyamira County Public Service Board has announced a major recruitment exercise, advertising 181 permanent and pensionable positions across 27 job categories within the county government.
The vacancies target professionals in medicine, nursing, pharmacy, public health, laboratory services, nutrition, clinical care, therapy, radiography and medical engineering.
Registered Nurse II has the highest number of vacancies, with 80 positions, followed by Medical Officer with 10 positions. The recruitment also includes specialized positions for obstetricians and Gynaecologists, General Surgeons, an Orthopaedic surgeon, nephrology nurses and critical care nurses.

Applications must be submitted online through the Nyamira County Public Service Board recruitment platform https://cpsb.nyamira.go.ke/. Applicants are required to register, provide their personal information and upload their ID, CV, academic certificates, transcripts and professional testimonials as a single PDF document.
The deadline is October 6, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. East Africa Time. Hard-copy applications will not be accepted.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to produce original and certified documents together with the relevant Chapter Six clearance certificates, including KRA, HELB, EACC, Certificate of Good Conduct and CRB clearances.
The Board has encouraged women, persons living with disabilities and applicants from marginalised groups to apply. It has also warned against canvassing and recruitment fraud, stressing that no fee is charged at any stage of the recruitment process.
